How is Optium® Acrylic™ made?
Utilizing a clear abrasion-resistant acrylic as a substrate, a thin multi-layer system of proprietary coatings featuring our patented Optium™ technology are bonded to both surfaces of a OP-3 acrylic substrate.  The coating is designed and engineered for demanding optical requirements as well as durability and strength.  Our patented technology applied to the lightweight substrate makes Tru Vue Optium® Acrylic™ a logical glazing alternative to glass while providing a secure environment.
